| The John Augusts
Roebling and Sons suspension footbridge
spans the Delaware River between Raven Rock, New
Jersey and Lumberville, Pennsylvania. It was
constructed in 1947 on the stone piers that originally
supported a wooden covered bridge built in 1856 by
Solon Chapin of Easton. We think this view from the
dining room windows of the Black Bass Hotel in
Lumberville rivals the panorama outside
any pub in the world. |
